$aThis research proposes to combine a step-counting device with light-sleep wake-up alarm into one single hardware for later data observation of a new Cardiovascular Preventing System. A top-down methodology is applied and improved via experiments and comparisons with reference data. The results is a combination device capable of both counting step (error rate below 5%) and light-sleep waking up users (90% accuracy).
