$aThis article represents a research on the RV165-2 engine (produced by SVEAM: Southern Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Mechinery company Limited) by experiment on dynamometer engine and simulation, based on which method of calculating the number is used to optimize the design applied into the engine production. Intake stroke of the engine is modeled and simulated via Ansys – Fluent. The specifications collected from the simulation such as: swirl ratio, tumble ratio, etc. As well as which gained from an experiment such as: maximum output, maximum torque, specific fuel consumption, concentration in the exhaust: NOx, Soot, CO are evaluated to propose renovation method in the future.
